Speaking about the launch of English version of his latest book 'Messiah of Ghazal singing: Ustad Mehdi Hassan', Dr Dipesh says, "The English version of the book would be launched in Canada by Ustad Tari Khan Sahib, who played tabla alongside Ustad Mehdi Hassan Khan Sahib. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Anita Gupta for her generous effort and helping me to convert my Hindi version into English. We shall launch the English version very soon," further adding, "While it is impossible for someone like me to fully capture or describe Ustad Mehdi Hassan remarkable personality, he was not only an extraordinary musician and singer but also an exceptional human being, passion, devotion, and dedication to music teach us the importance of staying focused and persevering, even in unfavorable circumstances. Khan Sahab possessed a unique ability to remain rooted in the same Raga throughout an entire Ghazal, transforming it from a mere composition into an intricate Khayal."
Son of Late Om Prakash Vishnavat and Smt. Chanda Devi, Dr Dipesh Kumar is 44 year old specially abled nationally and internationally famed Ghazal Singer who has been recognized by several accolades. Grandson of Late Pandit Kanhaiyalal Ji Azad, a high quality Tabla player at Pratapgarh court (Rajasthan) and nephew of Pandit Pyare Lal ji, a court singer artist, Dr Dipesh Kumar Vishnavat is a M.A. (Music), NET and a Ph. D holder. He recently rose to international fame when Padma Shri Anup Jalota launched Dr Dipesh Kumar Vishnavat's book in Hindi 'Messiah of Ghazal singing: Ustad Mehdi Hassan', the last year.
Altaf Manjibhai, a resident of Canada and a devoted admirer of Mehdi Hassan Khansaab, having spent significant time with Khansaab as a close friend of Dr Dipesh, Altaf inspired Dipesh to translate this book into English. He suggested that an English version would allow a broader audience worldwide to access Khansaab’s biography, enabling more people to learn about and benefit from his remarkable life and legacy.
Citing that he is an inspiration for all of us, Jalota ji was highly appreciative of Dr Dipesh's achievement saying, "Despite his disability, Dr Dipesh Kumar Vishnawat has excelled in his art form and now that he his extensive research for book on the great of Ghazals is highly commendable."
While Dr Dipesh Kumar Vishnavat's previous book ‘Era man of folk singing: Kaluram Bikharnia’ was related to folk bhajans on Kaluram ji Bikharaniya who was original in his folk bhajan singing in Rajasthan and has attained such popularity, that today almost all the folk bhajan singers copy his style. He attained such revered status in his hometown that his memorial and life-size statue has been installed in three and a half bigha in Bikharniya Kalan, Rajasthan.
During his earlier days Dr Dipesh Kumar Vishnawat was presented the Youth Ghazal Singer Award 2012 by world renowned Tabla player and Ghazal singer Ustad Tari Khan and he was also the winner of Sufi Award in 2013 that was presented by the world famous Wadali Brothers Ustad Puran Chand ji. He also performed in the presence of Tabla Nawaz Ustad Tari Khan Sahab, and then another in the presence of Ghazal singer A. Hariharan.
Dr Dipesh Kumar Vishnavat, M.A. Music (Singing), NET, Ph.D is a Ghazal singer from Radio Akashvani and he is the first person in the world to do research on "Shahenshah-e-Ghazal Ustad Mehdi Hassan Saheb. His book "Ghazal Gayaki Ke Messiah Ustad Mehdi Hassan" was released in International Book Fair Sharjah in 2022.
One of the most loved Ghazal singer of present times, Dr Dipesh Kumar was gifted a harmonium by Padma Shri Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota ji.
Writer of the Book - Yugpurush of Folk Singing: Kaluram Bikharniya, the original Hindi book Messiah of Ghazal Singing: Ustad Mehdi Hasan has now come up with the English version of the same.
Apart from the books, he has written articles on University of Ghazal Singing, A glimpse of folk music in Phad painting, University of Ghazal: Ustad Mehdi Hasan published in Chintan, International Research Journal, Art and Folk Art in the Pandemic Era, Stars of the Universe: Pandit Ravi Shankar and others.

With several accolades to his credit, Dr Dipesh Kumar Vishnawat is the winner of Bundi Idol 2005 and Youth Ghazal Singer 2008. He has performed live in International Academic Workshop by the Institute of Government Accounts and Finance, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, New Delhi, 2012.
With notable Ghazal performances in presence of Padma Shri Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota, Sarangi Nawaz Ustad Sultan Khan Saheb, he has been awarded Youth Ghazal Singer Award 2012 by world famous Tabla player and Ghazal singer Ustad Tari Khan Saheb and is also the winner of Sufi Award 2013.
More to his credit are Ghazal performance in presences of luminaries like Tabla Nawaz Ustad Tari Khan Saheb in 2015, Ghazal singer A. Hariharan Saheb in 2016, Dholak player of film industry Girish Vishwa ji in 2016, during the Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Academy, Jodhpur in 2016, Jawahar Kala Kendra Jaipur in 2017, a ghazal performance in Madhubani Literature Festival 2019 and in presence of Saheb and Pandit Naveen Sharma.
